China should not be Trusted

Been a while since i last posted. So here it is.

That  title isn't really about the whole Chinese people but against the Chinese regime, everyone knows as the CCP. Before any Chinese get angry, i would like to say that i have no problems with Chinese people, in fact , I like all of their cultural heritage and traditions.

Chinese Communist Propaganda

Everyone knows that china's economy is rapidly growing and is unlike anyone has ever seen. Very impressive growth. China boasted that their effort has lifted 400 million Chinese out of poverty and improved the freedom of citizens, all made possible by the one party system of communist china. Did you know that they call the highest possible position a man can sit is called a president?

Eric x Li presented in TED talks. His focus was 'How china is better with the one party system' and 'One party system is better than democracy'. According to him. "Democratic countries face corruption, economic woes and a host of social and political problem". China's government on the other hand, can be summed up in three words. Adaptability, Meritocracy, and Legitimacy.

1) Adaptability - Look at how much change happened to china in the span of 1949-present day.

From 'Radical Land Collectivization' to 'Jiang's Party Opening'. Wow talk about adaptability. This picture actually tells it all. The radical political reforms that the CCP has embarked to improve China. Jiang Ze Min, probably second only in merits to Mao. Which brings us to number 2.

2) Meritocracy - Apparently china's political system is meritocratic. It means to be promoted, you have to excel at what you do. Just ask the prince-lings. Li said that "The meritocracy in china is so strong that most politicians in the US like Barrack Obama wouldn't even get as far as a small county manager". Really?

Mr. Li also said that "Most can live where they want and work as they choose", "Go into business without hindrance", "Travel in and out of the country" , and my favorite, "Openly criticize the government online without retaliation". Wow it's great living in China.

3) Legitimacy - Based on data collected by the PARTY. 85% are happy with the direction of the party and China state run Global Times said that "93% of the youth are optimistic about the future". And here i thought that 93% of them are still looking for jobs. According to Li. "State power focuses on small numbers of individuals who have political agendas and wants to topple the one party system". Like this group of people.

God damn radical extremist who looks like farmers, always wanting to topple the government. Good thing that those men in black are there to stop the uprising.

According to the party. The number of protest happening in china are approximately 10,000 a year and are resolve in peace.

The Truth shall set you Free

Well here are some interesting facts about China and their so called 'Supreme Government'.

The economy of china is currently second in the world and is expected to pass US economy by as soon as 2019 based on PPP (Purchasing Power Parity). Wow, look at china. Did you know that 70% of wealth in china is owned by 0.4% of china's families (and that was a study based on 2006, now it's even bigger) and the Top 70 officials in the party has a collective wealth of over 89.9 billion dollars. Which is 11 times what the US congress is worth. So, if china's economy is so well, why is that, that high ranking officials are moving their families overseas? So much for the Chinese Dream (which is a real thing). According to China's very own Ministry of commerce estimates that between 1978 to 2003, about more than 4000 corrupt high ranking officials left china taking with them about 50 billion dollars worth of wealth.

........ if only i can put cricket sounds here.

Moving on. Li's statement about democracy and the west.

"Democratic countries face corruption, economic woes and a host of social and political problem"

Like China doesn't have that. Yeah if you say so.

That Eric x Li sure does open my eyes on how great china is. Lead me to research about it on reliable sources. And do you know what i found out? China is so great that they are in league with the nazis?

1) Adaptability - The governments ability to radically adjust government policy when something doesn't work really sounds great. Which had me thinking, why can't the US have that? Oh wait, by radical changes you mean launching disastrously murderous campaign, and then fix it by more disastrously murderous campaigns and then somehow trust the government to eventually get it right.

The famine caused by the great leap forward killed tens of millions of people. The cultural revolution became  outburst of violence and people became mango worshiping nuts for decades (True story). So this is Eric's proof of adaptability? 60 to 80 million people died of unnatural death since that CCP came in to power. Ah, policy changes from something bad to something worse. =(

2) Meritocracy - Eric X Li's statement such as

"The meritocracy in china is so strong that most politicians in the US like Barrack Obama wouldn't even get as far as a small county manager"
Consider Bo Xi Lai who rose up the ranks so quickly, through terrorizing media, journalist and lawyers. And throwing a lot of people in jail without an ounce of due process, very possibly overseeing the force organ harvesting of still living prisoners of conscious. Also somehow afforded to give his son an expensive overseas education in the UK and in the US. As well as owning 50% of a French villa under a public servant salary and whose wife admitted of committing murder and just himself had been put to trial by political rivals who wants to take him down. Yeah, I don't think Obama has the merit to win in that kind of political system.

"Most can live where they want and work as they choose"
Except under the household registration system or "Houko system", where if you move out of your area you are no longer eligible to healthcare and your kids can't go to school.

"Go into business without hindrance"
As long as you know the right people and are willing to engage in bribery and local officials doesn't just go in and bulldoze your shop.

"Travel in and out of the country"
Unless your Huang Zhisong, the Chinese editor of Wikipedia who was told that he cannot leave china till 2016 or you're the Tibetan writer Woeser and the government don't want to give you a passport to travel overseas. Now for my favorite.

"Openly criticize the government online without retaliation"
Yeah, because everyone who was taken down for criticizing the government was accused of spreading rumors and inciting public discontent against the government. Like those two weibo users that was arrested because they posted that "Lei Fong, the young soldier and good samaritan paraded by the CCP decades ago was nothing more than a phony puppet".Did you know, Google, Facebook, and Youtube and many more, are banned on China on the grounds that it has illegal content. WTF! I mean Google? It's a fucking search engine, how will it have illegal content? Sorry for the cursing, i couldn't control myself.

3) Legitimacy - 85% are happy with the direction of the party, "93% of the youth are optimistic about the future". Data all collected by the party. The same party that said "Huanpu river's water is safe to drink" even after more than 16,000 dead pigs were dumped in the river, which probably died of disease and the same party that downplayed  SARS in order to save face. Up to this day SARS has no medical cure.

I really like Ted talks but Li's participation at it turned it to a propaganda. I listened to it for the whole duration of the video, lies after lies, and what makes me mad most is that after that the people gave him a standing ovation as if they are all kids that were told that eating candies all the time is healthy.

A lot of CCP fanatics always says that the US can't criticize China because they're not exactly a role model. I agree the US too has a lot of flaws but at least people can write about it, talk about it, heck you can go to Washington DC and protest about it.

Let's see you try that in China.

Tiananmen Square Massacre. June 4th, 1989

According to the party. The number of protest happening in china are approximately 10,000 a year and are resolve in PEACE. But research made by NGOs said that over 200,000 protest are happening in China every year. That's a clear sign that the Chinese people are fed up with the government. As for the peacefully.

Those are Tibetan monks who protested in front of the Chinese consulate. Just look at those smiles, they knew they're safe now because the chengguan is there.
